Kevin Mickey, Director of Professional Education and Outreach
The Indiana Geographic Information Council (IGIC) Education Committee, which Kevin Mickey, Director of Professional Education and Outreach, chairs, is sponsoring its 10th annual Indiana GIS Government Forum on November 17. This event brings together GIS coordinators from all levels of local, state, and federal agencies in Indiana to discuss current trends in the geospatial industry that impact the state. In addition to coordinating the event, Mickey is presenting a session on recent and pending legislation at the state and federal level that offers challenges as well as opportunities for the GIS community.
